A man has been stabbed to death outside a Melbourne service station in an early morning assault.Â
Police were called to a BP service station on the corner of Potter Street and Princes Highway in Dandenong, in Melbourne’s south-east, following reports a man had been assaulted about 4.50am.Â
Paramedics provided treatment to the man but were unable to prevent his death.Â
The man’s body could be seen on the nature strip outside the service station on Tuesday morning, according to the Herald Sun.Â

Police remained at the scene, which they cordoned off with tape, hours after the incident about 9am, a BP Dandenong employee told the Daily Mail.Â
No one has yet been arrested, a spokesperson for Victoria Police told the Daily Mail.
‘The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be established,’ Victoria Police said in a statement on Tuesday morning.Â
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed they responded to an incident in Dandenong about 5am on Tuesday.Â
In May, a 29-year-old woman bravely fought off a group of teenagers in an alleged attempted car hijacking at the same service station.
