Six Palestinians have been wounded when the Israeli army fired tear gas during a raid on the Al-Faraa refugee camp south of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The society said emergency medical teams treated all six victims for tear gas inhalation at the scene.
The raid came amid a wave of fresh Israeli raids across the occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh and deployed across several neighbourhoods, the official Voice of Palestine radio reported, with no arrests or home searches confirmed.
In Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah, Israeli troops fired tear gas canisters towards Palestinian residential homes during a village raid, with no casualties reported.
In Hebron’s Old City, Israeli soldiers assaulted journalists and obstructed their coverage as illegal Israeli settlers entered the area under military protection, according to the broadcaster.
