Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder, after a man who fell from an apartment block died in hospital.
Shay Bishop, who was in his twenties and understood to be from Leicester had been in a critical condition after the fall in the city’s Langworthy neighbourhood. He died on Saturday night.
Detectives are now questioning the two suspects, one of whom was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday 29th August.
Reports from residents living near the scene, on Southern Street, said members of the public rushed to help the man who fell and performed CPR on him.

How far the man fell has not been confirmed, but specialist scenes of crime investigators were pictured on a top-floor balcony.
Chief Inspector Lee Gridley, from Greater Manchester Police, said: “Firstly, our thoughts remain with the man’s family and friends as they grieve the death of their loved one.
“We now have two men in custody, and they are being questioned by detectives.
“The investigation is progressing at pace, and we have a team of detectives working to establish the full circumstances that led to this tragic incident.
“We understand that incidents of this nature may cause concern within the community; however, we believe this is an isolated incident and that there is no wider risk to the public.”

Detectives are asking for anyone who witnessed what happened, or has any footage connected to the incident, to come forward.
The force have referred themselves to the police watchdog, the IOPC, because of previous contact with those involved.
