Bank Holiday Monday is the last day of the summer season for the theme park, which has extended the day’s opening hours to reflect this.
Wipeout was launched as a park ride in 2007 and was then described as “the tallest, fastest and most extreme ride in East Anglia”.
According to the attraction’s website, Wipeout is its flagship rollercoaster and stands over 40m (131ft) tall.
It underwent a £1m transformation over the winter of 2024-2025, the website says, including a new train with waist restraint lap bars for improved comfort and safety.
A man was rescued from the ride in 2017 after it broke down.
