Police investigate fatal shooting in northwest Albuquerque

Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed near Coors Blvd and Central Avenue in northwest Albuquerque

A man was shot to death in northwest Albuquerque.

Albuquerque Police said they heard about gunshots fired just before 10 p.m. Thursday in the area of Coors Boulevard north of Central Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

APD said there are no suspects in custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
