BATON ROUGE, La. — Clemson head coach was not too happy with LSU officials prior to Saturday’s game at Tiger Stadium.
Swinney was a little upset that LSU officials were allowing LSU students and Clemson’s band into the stadium, but they would not allow his players to access the playing surface when they arrived at the stadium.
Threatening weather was in the Baton Rouge area prior to the game. Officials in the press box even warned those media members sitting on the front row of the press box, which is an open air press box, to be aware of the dangers sitting out in the open and to watch their equipment with lightning moving into the area.
At the time of this story, gates have been opened in the stadium and fans are filing in. However, neither team has been allowed onto the field.
