France captain Griedge Mbock says she is not scared of returning to the pitch after spending a month on the sidelines with a calf injury.
“I’m not scared. I trust my team-mates. I know others can help me and
fill any gap if I lack pace,” says Mbock.
The centre half missed all three of Les Bleues Euro 2025 group games.
“I am lucky, I’m in collective sport and I can count on team-mates,” Mbock added. “My state of mind is impatient, because I was on the bench for a long time. I took all the energy the team gave me and that helped me to
hold on in this time of absence.”
