Albuquerque police investigate after elderly man found dead in apartment

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police are investigating after officers found an “elderly man” dead with an apparent stab wound at an apartment.

According to APD, officers responded around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday to an apartment at 950 Louisiana Blvd SE.

Police found an elderly man “with what appeared to be a stab wound” and determined he had died.

APD homicide detectives opened a homicide investigation, and police detained one person for questioning.
