Prince George has started at Eton College, the £65,673 private boarding school that both his father and uncle attended. He was spotted yesterday arriving for his first day with his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Eton is a school for boys aged 13 to 18 in Berkshire. It was founded in 1440 and is the largest boarding school in England. It is known for its notable alumni, including David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, and Bear Grylls.

While attending, George can expect a wide choice of ordinary-seeming meals that are made with more expensive ingredients. The options include burgers, chicken tikka masala, homemade flapjacks, and cereal.

But as the young prince progresses in his education, he could see even more luxurious plates. Academically successful students are treated to dishes like confit duck legs, salmon roe, and swordfish risotto.
