In a Rosh Hashanah greeting video filmed by Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danonת together with Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Neuman, Chabad’s emissary to the diplomatic community, the sound of the shofar was heard for the first time in the UN General Assembly Hall.

“As the Rebbe taught us, in the ‘house of darkness and lies,’ we must light a candle of truth that will illuminate the entire place,” Rabbi Neuman said.
