WASHINGTON (TNND) — Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers slammed the U.S. two-party system, referring to it as a uni-party and said that President Donald Trump’s administration is “Israel First.”
During an appearance on the “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward,” podcast, Rodgers discussed his distrust in all politicians and said politics is just a psyop, which is short for “psychological operation.”
“There’s been nothing but the obstruction of transparency with this entire administration,” Rodgers said. “Anybody who even liked Trump or thought that things would changelike this is a pro-Israel first administration. And when you dig into it, that’s the uni-party.”
“It’s how many members of Congress are sponsored by AIPAC,” he continued.
AIPAC is short for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The organization has received backlash from some Democrats and Republicans for funding candidates across the country.
In May of this year, AIPAC put out in a statement on X that it was proud to help unseat Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie in his primary.
Rodgers said that Trump has not come through on any of his campaign promises.
Rodgers made headlines in 2021 when he played for the Green Bay Packers and refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
He said on the podcast that the only person he maybe trusts in politics is libertarian Ron Paul.
“I don’t trust anyone in politics,” he said. “Maybe Ron Paul, but it’s all the uni-party.”
Ron Paul thanked Rodgers for his comments and invited him to come on his podcast.
