PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A brand-new statue of Charlie Kirk unveiled earlier this week was vandalized overnight Sunday.
The eight-foot statue, located at Turning Point USA’s headquarters near 48th Street and Baseline Road in Phoenix, was installed Thursday to mark the one-year anniversary of Kirk’s killing.
It was found defaced Sunday morning, spray-painted in red. A nearby poster memorial in front of the statue was vandalized with red paint as well.

Kirk, a conservative activist, was shot and killed a year ago at a Turning Point USA event in Utah.
The Phoenix Police Department confirmed officers responded to “calls of vandalism to a memorial” Sunday morning. It’s unclear whether any suspects have been identified.
Anyone with information is asked to call Phoenix Police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
