After two incredible shows in Croke Park over the weekend, it’s fair to say that Oasis’ return to Ireland is something that is going to live long in the memory.
Those who were lucky enough to get their hands on tickets have widely labelled the show as the best they have seen, a sentiment that has been echoed by those who also attended the tour in the UK in recent weeks.
The Gallagher brothers’ reunion was a long time in the making, although many have been taken aback by just how incredible Oasis have sounded since their comeback. Indeed, every single one of their gigs feels like a massive cultural event.

As you would expect from an Oasis band member, the night turned into a rather heavy one.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Noel Gallagher would open up on his night in O’Donoghue’s, something he was still feeling the effects of.
We’re just back from Dublin, so I’m feeling a bit shaky today.
It went on, it went on. It eventually finished because I had to get a flight home, but it went on for a while.
There was a lot of singing, a lot drinking, and a lot of talking nonsense…
It was O’Donoghue’s. It was quite a night!
It looked like some night.
Footage would do the rounds on social media of a singsong that broke out in the Baggot Street venue during his time in the pub.

Having waited 16 years for them to make their return to Irish soil, Oasis fans will be hoping that they won’t have to wait quite as long for the band’s next gig in this country.
