Sometimes you can open your phone to absently scroll, and then you’ll find one of the most heartwarming videos on the internet. The latest one that has people talking is a moment between two dogs, and it has TikTok viewers simply gushing over how sweet it is.

A pet parent posted to their @ruthgoesruff page and shared a video of their trip to the dog park. Though what has everyone grabbing tissues is that their dog decided to play with another pup who happened to be disabled. Like any good fur baby, this dog just wanted to make a new friend. Go ahead and check out their beautiful playdate!

This sweet dog has zero reservations about introducing themselves to this pup, who also happens to be a cutie. It’s just like any little kid trying to make friends on the playground. That’s all that matters between them. As you can see, they’re both sniffing and smiling and playing around together. The dog is even cautious of the pup’s little legs, as he has a dog wheelchair, but it’s a completely normal interaction. You can tell they had a ton of fun!

Clearly, their pet parent is proud of their dog for being friendly. “BRB [I’m] currently crying over my pup trying to play with a disabled puppy,” wrote @ruthgoesruff in the video’s text overlay. And they’re not the only ones who were touched by this innocent moment between two doggies. In two days, the video already has 1.4 million likes, and commenters are also loving this pair.

“His mama raised him right. Find someone who needs a friend and play with them,” chimed in @lifewithero, and many other’s agreed with that sentiment.

Another commenter @angelb333 added, “I just know the owner of the disabled pup felt so much joy seeing another dog play with their baby.”

Meaningful Moments for Your Pets

Pet parents know, fur babies can develop a number of conditions as they grow older, or they may be born with certain issues. According to Bark.co, “about six percent of dogs are born with developmental abnormalities,” and that can range from a variety of physical and other issues. No matter the difficulties or what stage of the journey your pet family member is in, it’s important to look out for them. Many times that means making sure they have the best experience possible, while also minding their health. That’s why moments like these are so important.

From this video, you can see the joy in both of these dogs’ faces as they play. These two are on their way to being best friends in no time. Here’s hoping that there will be many more park playdates in their future!
