A Brazilian model was dragged from her home and shot to death in front of her dad.
Two men broke into the home of 21-year-old Evelyn Lima Dantas in northeastern Brazil on Wednesday before repeatedly shooting her on the sidewalk, Brazilian outlet Globo reported.
Her father told the police that the men broke into the home at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, subdued Dantas, dragged her outside and shot her in front of him.
The shooters spray-painted the letters “TCP” in front of the house, a nod to Terceiro Comando Puro, the second most powerful gang in Rio de Janeiro, before fleeing.
Her body was found by the police on the sidewalk, covered by a white sheet. Witnesses said the suspects fled in a vehicle after the shooting.
Video from the scene shows a large police presence near the murder scene. The police cordoned off the area as they continue to investigate.
Dantas was actively being investigated by the authorities over the murder of a retired cop, 56-year-old retired cop, Antonio Anildo Alves da Silva. He was gunned down by four hooded men outside a supermarket on July 29.

Investigators suspected that Dantas helped the shooters before the murder, Globo reported, but she was ultimately released from custody on Sept. 9 as the investigation progressed.
Dantas had more than 24,000 followers online at the time of her death. She vlogged trips and showed off her good looks to her fans.
She was known to the authorities, though — she had previously been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking for TCP, the cops said.

Investigators are now reportedly exploring whether her murder was retribution of some kind. They’re actively looking for more information about the murder.
No arrests have yet been made in the case.
