CHICAGO (WLS) — A second suspect is now charged with pushing a man from a CTA Red Line train to his death, Chicago police said.

A teenage girl also charged in the murder was ordered held in custody earlier this week, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office said.

Police said Friday that 19-year-old Katlar Parchman of Chicago is facing five felony charges, including first-degree murder.

Kyle Bickham’s family said he was heading home from work when, according to police, he was pushed from a moving CTA Red Line train near the 69th Street station during an altercation around 2:40 p.m. Monday.

Investigators say Bickham landed on the third rail and was then struck by another train.

Police said the 15-year-old girl is one of three people who allegedly used force to push the 29-year-old from the train. She is charged with first-degree murder, among other charges.

Officers arrested the teen last Friday.

Loved ones described Bickham as a caring, hardworking man who was devoted to his family. He was one of four siblings and the youngest boy in the family. They said he loved making people laugh and spending time with those he loved.

Bickham’s family gathered at the 69th Street station last Sunday, calling for witnesses and the two other people police say were involved in his death to contact investigators.
