One dead, 7 hurt after Ocean County crash

LAVALLETTE, N.J. (WPVI) — A woman is dead and seven others are injured after a car crashed into an outdoor dining area in Lavallette, Ocean County on Saturday.
Police say a 93-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Buick Encore accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.
The SUV slammed into tables outside Meg’s Grill on the 1400 block of Grand Central Avenue.
A 56-year-old woman was killed.
Seven other people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
