A 76-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed his 81-year-old neighbour in Perth’s south.
The man confronted the woman in the driveway of her Ringarooma Way, Willetton home about 1.30pm (3.30pm AEST) yesterday.
He allegedly produced a knife and assaulted the woman, causing serious injuries to her.

St John WA treated the woman at the scene and took her to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment, with her injuries deemed to be non-life-threatening.
Police attended the scene at Willetton and found the man nearby, taking him into custody.
He was subsequently charged with one count of causing bodily harm with intent.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear before Armadale Magistrates Court today.
