Geelong has selected their team for Saturday’s clash with Richmond at the MCG
Geelong has made one change for Saturday’s crucial clash with Richmond at the MCG, as the Cats look to secure a top two spot in the final round of the home and away season.Â
Experienced defender, Jed Bews will make his return to Geelong’s team this weekend, set to be his first AFL appearance since the Round 11 victory over the Western Bulldogs.Â
Bews has been in strong form while featuring for the VFL Cats in recent weeks, averaging 22 disposals per game across his last four appearances while providing plenty of his trademark run and carry off half back.Â
Shannon Neale comes out of the side after receiving a one match suspension at the conclusion of Round 23.Â
Geelong will head to the MCG for the final round of the home and away season on Saturday afternoon, taking on Richmond from 4.15pm AEST.Â
With a win on the weekend, the Cats will lock in a top two spot and will secure a home Qualifying Final at the MCG in two weeks time.Â
