All Elite Wrestling has announced the death of Benjamin Satterley, better known to wrestling fans as PAC. He was 40.
In a statement published on its website and social media channels, AEW said:
All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.
Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history.
Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.
No further details surrounding Satterley’s death were provided in the announcement.
Satterley began wrestling in 2004 and built an international career before joining WWE, where he performed as Neville and held the NXT Championship and Cruiserweight Championship.
He signed with AEW in 2019, later becoming the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion and also holding the AEW World Trios Championship as part of Death Triangle.
PAC competed at AEW All Out on Saturday, challenging Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship.
