This is the moment Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick took the law into his own hands on the streets of Brixton after confronting a brazen shoplifter.
In the shocking footage, Mr Jenrick confronts a man who allegedly stole a bottled drink from a shop before making a break for it.
Confronting the man, the Newark MP asked: “I think you just nicked that, didn’t you?”
As the man denied stealing the item, Mr Jenrick replied: “Well, we just watched you take it. Do you want to give it back?”
The would-be thief then agreed to take the drink back before walking away from Mr Jenrick and his team.
The Reform UK MP then followed the man and asked him: “Why do you think you’re above the law?”
The man then claimed “they always give us drinks” at the shop.
Mr Jenrick continued to grill the man as he tried to swerve the confrontation, asking: “Why do you think you can take things and everyone else is paying for them? Why do you think you don’t have to pay for things?”
The man then made a break for it, attempting to walk in the opposite direction from the heated exchange.

But Mr Jenrick continued to grill the wannabe thief, asking him: “You think you can just walk into shops and nick things?”
The man finally responded, telling the Reform UK MP: “Well, we ask them, and they say yes.”
In disbelief, Mr Jenrick argued: “Oh, they’re happy with it, are they? Right, yeah, everyone loves this shoplifting, don’t they now?
“Well, the effect of what you’re doing is that everyone else’s food and drink just goes up in price. Do you think other people can afford that around here?
“Everyone’s finding life tough at the moment, you’re nicking stuff sounds like all the time, and it just makes everyone else’s lives more expensive.”

The man then attempted to walk away a third time, as Mr Jenrick offered to return the drink to the shop for him.
The MP then returned to the same shop, where he informed the shopkeeper that he wasit returning a drink stolen from his store.
Reflecting on the incident, Mr Jenrick told GB News: “I’m sick of seeing brazen shoplifting and nothing ever happening.
“In fact, the Government are making it worse by letting prisoners out early.
“The shoplifting epidemic is forcing the cost of the weekly food shop up by £50 for British families. It’s outrageously unfair.
