SunLive – Te Puna: Car collides with shops

A car has crashed into a set of shops in Te Puna.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson said two trucks had been called to the Minden area after a car crashed into shops.

No one was trapped and there were no serious injuries.

Crews were called round 10.40am.

A police spokesperson said they received reports of a single vehicle crash on Minden Road, Minden.

“Two people are reported to have minor injuries.

“Police are in attendance.”

A reporter at the scene said the vehicle was currently inside the Bottle Craft store but there was also damage to the Te Puna Deli across the carpark.
