Israeli defense companies have recorded a new export high, driven by international demand for air defense systems, missiles, drones and advanced military technologies.

The growth reflects strong overseas interest in electronic equipment and intelligence technologies developed by Israeli manufacturers, alongside systems designed to counter aerial threats.

European countries account for an increasing share of contracts with Israeli companies as governments across the continent raise military budgets and strengthen their defense capabilities.

Israeli manufacturers also highlight the operational experience gained through the use of their systems in recent years. Companies point to lessons drawn from the various fronts on which the Israeli military has operated since October 7, 2023, as informing the development and refinement of their products.

Demand remains strong despite calls to boycott Israel and restrictions imposed by some governments on arms sales or purchases. Those measures have created obstacles in certain markets, while Israeli companies continue to pursue contracts elsewhere.
