At 29 per cent in voter intentions, the Parti Québécois remains most likely to form Quebec’s next government, a poll released on the eve of Monday’s election says.
Published Sunday afternoon by Pallas Data, the poll reaches the same conclusion as Saturday’s Léger poll, predicting PQ Leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon will lead a minority government following Monday’s vote.
At 29 per cent, “the PQ will almost certainly form the next government,” Pallas CEO Joseph Angolano said in a statement. “A minority is the likelier result, but a majority is not out of reach if turnout breaks their way.”
