House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries launched another blistering attack on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the ongoing Iran war, calling the conflict “Operation Epic Failure” and arguing that Trump should remove his Pentagon chief.Asked how Democrats plan to push back against the war, Jeffries said the conflict should end immediately and accused Hegseth of failing the American people. “One person needs to be let go from the Pentagon. It’s you, Pete Hegseth,” Jeffries said, before calling him a “disaster” and questioning whether he was ever qualified for the job.
