Two men have been charged with multiple offences after police seized 13 guns and about 20,000 rounds of ammunition from a pair of homes just north of Winnipeg.
The weapons, including two that were sawed-off, were found during a search of a home on Pipeline Road and another on Griffin Way in the rural municipality of West St. Paul on Sept. 11, Manitoba RCMP said in a Monday news release.
The search was prompted by information provided by the Canada Border Services Agency and carried out by the Manitoba Integrated Law Enforcement Team, which investigates organized and serious crime in the province.
Several high-capacity magazines that had been altered to hold more ammunition were also seized in the bust, RCMP said.
