2 passengers identified after medical aircraft crash off of Nantucket

  • October 6, 2026

(AP) – The passengers of a missing medical aircraft that crashed off of Nantucket over the weekend were identified Monday as a mother from Bermuda and her son, according to the Associated Press.

Marilyn Lavonne Bean, 66, and Sergio Wayne Lottimore, 41, were on the Gulfstream G100 when it crashed, Bermuda police said. Four crew members were also on the aircraft.

The crash occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday as the plane was traveling from Bermuda to Boston, the Associated Press said. Everyone on board is presumed dead, Latitude Air Ambulance, the company that owned the plane, said.

Bermuda police, in a statement posted on Facebook, said the investigation into the crash is being conducted by the U.S. National Transportation and Safety Board in conjunction with Canada’s Transport Safety Board.
