A Morgan Hill man was arrested after arriving at a San Jose hospital and admitting to killing his wife, according to Morgan Hill police.
Police said Roy Anthony Lopez, 37, arrived at Good Samaritan Hospital around 9:20 a.m. to report that he had killed his wife.
First responders found a woman inside a parked vehicle at the hospital. Paramedics provided emergency medical care, but she died of her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Lopez was detained without incident and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of murder.
Police said their preliminary investigation showed the alleged crime occurred at a home in the 1100 block of Vintage Lane in Morgan Hill.
Three children, ages 14, 6 and 3, were found inside the home.
“The children were safely escorted to the Morgan Hill Police Department and later released into the custody of the Santa Clara County Department of Family and Children’s Services,” police said.
