Specialist officers are supporting Dr Terry’s family, who have asked for privacy at this time.
Sources say that the victim, who was also a mother of three, worked at Grimston Medical Centre, which announced yesterday that it would be temporarily closed due to “extremely difficult circumstances affecting the practice team”.
It was understood that on the evening of her murder, Dr Terry’s children had friends over to stay, who were taken home by police officers.
