President Donald Trump says enough things that make Democrats and their media enablers set their hair on fire. So why do they feel the need to make things up?

This week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) accused Trump of urging Iran to use nuclear weapons on his state. “After sending the National Guard and Marines to occupy California, Donald Trump is now saying our foreign enemies should ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego,” Newsom declared. A statement put out by his press office added that Trump was “advocating for an attack on 10+ million U.S. residents in two of America’s largest cities.” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-California) joined in the pile-on. “Donald Trump has gone beyond the pale saying Iran can ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego,” the former House speaker said. All 43 California House Democrats issued a joint statement accusing Trump of having “invite[d] Iran to destroy two American cities.” And a Los Angeles Times headline blared: “Trump suggests letting Iran ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego at campaign rally.”
