Trump is reportedly considering three days of intensive strikes against Iran

US President Donald Trump has asked the Pentagon to prepare several scenarios for resuming military operations against Iran, the New York Times reports. Among the options under consideration is an intensive three-day strike campaign targeting Iranian missile and drone arsenals, energy infrastructure, and various military installations. This plan was reportedly discussed last Friday at Camp David. According to the newspaper, security officials have proposed large-scale military operations against Iran or the Houthis in Yemen five times in recent months, but Trump has consistently rejected them. The US president is now seriously considering this new offensive, while having stated on Thursday that no strikes would be launched before the November 3 midterm elections.
