President Donald Trump, the 80-year-old who started a war with Iran without Congressional approval, is still fuming that he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize.
“I settled 8 WARS,” Trump incorrectly said in a Truth Social post Saturday. Among those supposed victories, Trump said he “won a war in Venezuela.”
Trump also bragged about his ongoing war with Iran, saying he’s stopped them from “obtaining a Nuclear Weapon.”
The president was bewildered at the idea that his war hasn’t won him the world’s highest peace prize. In his post, he also spelled the name of the prize incorrectly.
“Yet, with all of that I, or the United States of America, did not get the Noble [sic] Peace Prize,” he posted. “WOW!”
At a rally in New York Friday night, Trump blasted the winner, U.N. human rights chief Navi Pillay.
“Despite all of this and all of these unbelievable accomplishments (by the U.S), the Nobel Prize was given out today to a liberal person who works at the United Nations who nobody has ever heard of,” Trump said.
“I’m just saying how crooked the whole Nobel Prize deal is,” he added.
