The Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a trade of Marvin Harrison Jr., NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Saturday.

Harrison will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions as the trade is finalized, Rapoport and Schefter added. The Cardinals reportedly were seeking a second-round draft pick and more for Harrison.

The team acquiring Harrison has yet to be identified, but Rapoport and Schefter reported that the Houston Texans are a team that has had trade talks regarding the third-year receiver.

The Indianapolis Colts had been speculated as a potential landing spot for Harrison if he were to be dealt — Harrison’s father, Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, starred for the Colts from 1996 to 2008 — but ESPN reported that Indy is not involved in trade talks.

The Cardinals drafted Harrison No. 4 overall in 2024, but the former Ohio State star has struggled to live up to his draft billing, and his production has cratered through four games this season with just five receptions on 13 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown.

For his career, Harrison has 108 catches for 1,578 yards and 13 touchdowns in 33 games.
