SEATTLE — Detectives are investigating a drive-by shooting in south Seattle that killed a 36-year-old man and injured a 27-year-old woman early Sunday morning.
According to Seattle Police, just before 1:00 AM on Sunday morning, multiple people began calling 911 about a shooting in the 5800 block of 4th Avenue South.
Officers went to the club and found the man, who was security for the nightclub, already dead.
The woman was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers performed aid on the woman until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Seattle Police said that a vehicle had driven into the parking lot of the club and the driver fired multiple gunshots from the vehicle. The suspect vehicle then left the club and was found on fire in South Seattle.
