Hawthorn has named its team for Round 24.
Hawthorn has named an unchanged line-up for its Round 24 clash with Brisbane at the Gabba on Sunday night.
This is the second straight week the Hawks have remained unchanged following consecutive wins against Collingwood and Melbourne leading into Round 24.Â
Retiring Hawk Luke Breust has been named for his 308th brown and gold game, which will see him pass his coach and premiership teammate Sam Mitchell into outright third position for most games played for the club.Â
Speaking of Mitchell, he is also set to notch up a special milestone on Sunday – his 400th Hawthorn game for as a player and coach.
Combining his 307 matches as a player, Mitchell is currently up to 92 games as coach.Â
Sunday’s game also marks Hawthorn’s first trip to the Gabba since 2019, with the brown and gold looking to avenge their Round 11 loss to the Lions earlier this year.Â
