The Patriots are reportedly going to be without running back TreVeyon Henderson for the near future.
Henderson left New England’s win over the Raiders with an ankle injury and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that it has been diagnosed as a high-ankle sprain. Henderson does not need surgery to address the injury, but he is expected to miss multiple weeks while he recovers.
Henderson had four carries for 22 yards and one catch for 16 yards before his injury on Sunday. He has 42 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown in four appearances this season.
The Patriots are also expected to be without left tackle Will Campbell due to a knee injury, so there will be some shuffling to do in a couple of areas heading into this Sunday’s game against the Jets.
