WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump said Wednesday that military leakers should be shot amid an Iran attack being compromised.
During a rally in Arizona, Trump said that there was an Iran B-2 bomber mission that was compromised because somebody leaked the information.
“There were two weeks, and we sent those beautiful B-2 — the wings,” Trump said, according to Fox News. “You know, the wings that carry very large bombs and are totally stealth.”
He referred to the leaker as a “sleazebag.”
“And they went there and they were being waited,” Trump continued. “I mean, Iran was waiting for them, and they never got to see him – 1:00 in the morning, they flew over and, you know, somebody leaked, some sleazebag.”
He said that the leaker should be in jail because they leaked the information to CNN and The New York Times.
However, at another rally in Montana, Trump said that Iran was weak and that the war would end quickly since the Navy and the Air Force had been destroyed.
“They don’t have a Navy; they don’t have an air force; their army is decimated; their leaders are gone,” Trump said. “I should have probably left the leaders because I don’t know who we’re negotiating with. They had their first-string leaders; [they] are all gone. Their second-string leaders are all gone. Half of their third-string leaders are gone. And now their main thing that they ask in negotiation is, ‘Will you please allow us to live?’”
