A woman in her 80s is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Scarborough on Friday afternoon, Toronto police say.
Officers received reports around 1:40 p.m. of a woman being stabbed in a residence in the area of McCowan Road and Sheppard Avenue E., according to police.
Police say a suspect is in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
