Jack Khoury reported that Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are more interested in the Israeli election than in the one for the Palestinian Authority’s institutions (which was canceled in the meantime). This is true, and stems from a sober and precise assessment that the real place for decisions over the lives of Palestinians are made is the Knesset. This was also an indication of the situation Palestinian politics have been cast into and of the level of despair prevailing among Palestinians.
