Aston Villa’s Emiliano Buendia told TNT Sports:

double quotation markVery good. These type of teams come in here with energy and they want to show their character. We respect them a lot.

I should score more. I had chances. I’m pleased. Important win.

A round-up of all of today’s fixtures:

ShareFull time: Sporting 2-3 LASK

What a huge result for LASK, they beat last season’s quarter-finalists in Sporting. That will give them a huge boost in confidence as they head into the rest of the competition.

ShareFull time: Aston Villa 3-1 Viking

Aston Villa had been on top of the table at 3-0 but Viking getting a goal back means they won’t end the night there. A good performance from Villa though.

ShareFull time: Inter Milan 1-0 Shakhtar

Inter Milan went down to 11 but they come away with all three points.

ShareFull time: Real Madrid 4-1 RB Leipzig

Wow, what a match in the end. It was a bit sluggish at times but that second half was mesmerising. The last two goals in particular outstanding.

ShareFull time: Club Brugge 3-0 Lens

It was a professional performance from Club Brugge with Lens blown away.

ShareFull time: Real Betis 1-0 Feyenoord

A penalty from Isco is the difference in Spain.

ShareFull time: Bayern Munich 2-2 Arsenal

Two England internationals scored in the second half with Harry Kane scoring a penalty and Declan Rice finishing off a well worked goal. But the spoils are shared in Germany.
