A recent display in Iran’s Tajrish Square has gone viral. It shows an actor impersonating Donald Trump locked inside a prison cell. Clips of the display started circulating on social media after it appeared on October 21. The video has drawn attention as the war between Iran and the United States continues.

Iran mocks Donald Trump with prison display

According to multiple clips that went viral on X (formerly Twitter), a mock prison cell appeared in Tajrish Square in Iran on Wednesday, showing US President Donald Trump caged in it.

In one of the clips, an Iranian actor portrays Trump in his signature tuxedo inside a prison cell. According to a report by The Mirror, the campaign is the latest dig Iran has taken at Trump after the numerous jabs it has taken online. Referring to the ongoing war between the two countries, the campaign’s tagline reads, “It is a crime not to see this scene.”

The videos online show multiple people taking photos and recording the mock display.

An X user praised the trash-talking Iran is doing around Trump. They commented, “Gotta give it to the Iranians, their smack talk has been pretty good.” Another user went on to comment, “He looks more like a human being than Trump does.”

Commenting on Trump’s mock display, a White House official told the outlet, “The United States is in a very strong position with control of the Strait of Hormuz and the Iranian economy collapsing. Iran has been decimated, and one way or the other, the conflict in Iran will be over very soon. President Trump holds all the cards and will do whatever is best for the United States.”

This comes after The New York Times reported that many people familiar with Secretary Pete Hegseth’s plans claimed that the US is planning to conduct major strikes on Iran.
