Winnipeg police are investigating after a 70-year-old man was found dead in a home in the city’s North End area earlier this week.
Officers were called with a report of a dead person inside a home in the 500 block of Mountain Avenue, between Powers and McKenzie streets, just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
They found a man dead in the home, and the circumstances around his death were determined to be suspicious, police said in a Friday news release.
They have identified the man as Richard James Boychuk, 70.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Winnipeg Police Service’s homicide unit, which is investigating the incident, at 204-986-6508.
