Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is still awaiting permission to access to the new €2.24bn National Children’s Hospital – creating concern that the latest construction finish date of late September may not be met.

CHI had asked for access to the hospital to speed up preparations for opening next year, up to three months before its substantial completion.
