A young woman is dead and police are looking for suspects after a shooting at a condo building in southwest Calgary on Saturday.
Emergency crews were called to the building at 8710 Horton Road SW around 4:30 p.m. for reports of gunshots in the parking garage.
Upon arrival, Calgary police say officers found a woman in garage with gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders performed lifesaving measures but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim is a woman in her 20s, according to police.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted. No one was taken into custody and no suspect information has been made available.
The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.
An autopsy for the victim is scheduled for Tuesday.
