Kobi Ohel, father of hostage Alon Ohel, said that “in our current understanding, we are talking about 20 lives and 30 deceased. The living don’t have time.” At a cultural Sabbath conference in Mishan, Ohel said: “Everyone who can be saved should be saved. Even if it’s in stages. The 20 living don’t have time and everything must be done to reach a deal that releases everyone – even if it’s in stages.” He added that “if tomorrow we can extract ten hostages then we need to proceed with the deal that’s currently on the table.”
