Election results: Olivia Chow re-elected as Toronto mayor

‘The people of Toronto have spoken’: Chow says after re-election

Speaking at her team’s headquarters Monday night, Chow said the election was hard-fought, but that the “people of Toronto have spoken.”
“I want to begin by thanking every candidate who put their name forward, especially Councillor Brad Bradford,” Chow said, to a crowd of boos.
“No, no, no, no, no, no. Look, we we had our differences. We fought hard for what we believed in. Councillor Bradford brought new energy, and introduced new ideas that people cared about, and made his case for them. And I respect that.”
