A man and a woman are facing charges in connection with the discovery of a body at a northeast Calgary home.
Calgary police were called to a home on Skyview Ranch Road NE around 8:10 a.m. Tuesday for a welfare check.
Officers found a body while searching the home.
On Wednesday, police said they have charged 49-year-old Michael Lee and 50-year-old Helen Lee with indignity to a dead body. Both remain in custody and are expected to appear in court on Friday.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday.
Police say investigators remain at the home and are conducting further searches as part of the ongoing investigation.
