Federal and state agencies on Thursday carried out “court-authorized investigative activity” at several sites in Rochester and the Twin Cities metro area.

Attorney General Keith Ellison confirmed the office’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit executed search warrants Thursday morning at two locations: Iska Inc. in St. Louis Park and Bright Horizon Therapy in Edina. The businesses provide autism services and other Medicaid-funded services, according to the attorney general.

FBI Minneapolis spokesperson Matt Vogel confirmed the Office of Inspector General, IRS criminal investigators and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are also involved in the investigation.

“This is an active investigation, and no further details are available at this time,” Vogel said.
