Feras Shaheen waited anxiously for his wife of six months to appear through the arrivals door at Dublin Airport.
Areej Al Zohoor (28) had been evacuated from war-torn Gaza by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) just days before, and as she slowly emerged through the crowds, waif-like and frightened, Mr Shaheen (23) could finally allow himself to believe he had a future with her.
