Didn’t make a save but had to pick the ball out of the net twice thanks to two good finishes, one curled into the far post and another after he was rounded late on following a break. Looked assured but a quiet game.
Thought he did well at right back, was solid defensively and was pretty good on the ball.
Barely lasted five minutes before pulling up with a groin injury but did manage to put a sitter on a plate for Mayenda, that really should have resulted in a goal.
Really strong defensively throughout, often using his body to ease players out of the way but most of his game was just passing side to side to his team-mates.
Like Hume on the other side he defended the wing well and didn’t allow anything to come from down his side.
Seemingly covered every blade of grass and kept going right until the end, can’t fault his work rate and he was tidy on the ball.
Put a free kick onto Ballard’s head early on, which should have led to a goal and was found on the edge of the box by Talbi but pulled a good chance comfortably wide. Not at his best today, with the final ball going forward just not there for him.
Worked really hard to give Hume support defensively and was dangerous with his off the ball movement, got into a good position to dink a shot over the goalkeeper but it went narrowly wide and then picked up Xhaka for a good chance on the edge of the box.
I thought Diarra was much more subdued than last week, less driving runs up the pitch and although he was generally tidy, he struggled to effect the game.
Caused Kyle Walker a few problems in the first half and looked dangerous but was subdued after the break. Played a really nice through ball to Talbi that almost resulted in a goal.
A willing runner up top but you’ve got to be ruthless in the Premier League and he missed an absolute sitter after Ballard picked him out with a header.
Had to replace Ballard early on and was solid enough, although got a bit lucky with a VAR decision going his way in the first half.
Came on and tried hard to get involved but often got the ball far too deep to make an impact.
Barely touched the ball after coming on, with very little quality coming his way.
Came on to replace Adingra on the left wing and although he looked lively, he was missing a final ball.
Got stuck in when high balls came into the box but absolutely nothing to work with.
Man of the Match: Reinildo
I thought our best positions today were at full back, with both Reinildo and Hume looking solid. Although they were close Reinildo gets my man of the match as he shut down Burnley’s right wing for the entire game, with both goals coming from the other side of the pitch – although neither Hume’s fault.
